Dear TCCC Members and Friends of the Chamber

The Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce has made a significant effort over the past year to further the Chamber's charitable goals.

Many of you have chosen to donate money to our current project the Village Development Partnership (VDP) in Baan Nong Phai, Buriram.

This message is not a call for more funding, but a request for your participation in a very important part of the development of the community bank - a tree planting activity on Saturday, 3 September 2011.
ny of you have chosen to donate money to our current project the Village Development Partnership (VDP) in Baan Nong Phai, Buriram.

One of the principles inherent in the VDP program is that nobody gets something for nothing. Although the villagers will be receiving our charitable donations in their community bank, they can only do so after they have planted enough trees to have symbolically earned the money.

We are in the initial process of arranging transportation and accommodation (if required) for those that can spare a day of their time on Saturday, 3 September 2011 and we need your commitment of support.

If you have donated already to the partnership, please take this opportunity to join us and see the good work that is being done in Baan Nong Phai.

IF YOU HAVE NOT YET DONATED, PLEASE DO NOT DO SO until you have attended this one-time event in the village. This is a call to action for you to see the Village Development Partnership in action and to meet the local villagers that we are empowering.

We would like to have every one of you join us for this special culture-bridging event.

Please confirm your intention to support this worthwhile cause and show your solidarity with the villagers of Baan Nong Phai as soon as possible with Randy at the TCCC office or tccc@loxinfo.co.th

We hope to have a minimum of 100 chamber members and friends attend this one-time only event.

Sincerely

TCCC Board of Directors
